These unique bamboo coasters are a perfect eco-friendly gift for someone special who loves flowers. This puffin handcrafted coaster set features an elegant illustration of an Atlantic puffin that looks great in the home or office. Atlantic puffins are popular due to their boldly coloured bills and sturdy builds, but these are remarkable creatures that are vulnerable to climate change. The coasters are a generous 9.5 cm wide – suitable for big tea/coffee mugs or beer/spirit/wine glasses. The designs are laser engraved to a considerable depth, which is very tactile in the hand. The coasters are made from MOSO caramel bamboo, which is hard and durable, very stable, hypoallergenic and fire resistant. Bamboo is a highly sustainable material, which captures carbon without the need for water irrigation, pesticides or herbicides. We hand sand then finish the coasters with natural oils and beeswax for a natural feel that is food safe. The coasters come in sets of 4 or 6 with an eco-friendly gift box.
